The Celtic festival of Imbolc marks the time between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. The time when we are most eager to celebrate the arrival of spring, but when we are still lying dormant. During Imbolc we honor the Celtic Brigid, goddess of fire and fertility. Adopted and adapted by Christians as St. Brigid of Kildare, the two Brigids honor that which is being held in the womb, “imbolc”.

Join us for a time of gentle meditation at this time of Imbolc as we consider what is lying dormant within us and what is ready to take root. Led by Margaret Somerville.
