An Online Musical Celebration Supporting Afghan Youth and the Power of Interfaith Solidarity
Join us for a powerful evening of music, storytelling, and global connection as Interfaith Alignment and Interfaith Scotland launch a meaningful new collaboration in support of Suraya Mohammadi—a courageous young Afghan leader and advocate for peace and education for girls.
Suraya, recipient of the 2024 Wilson Hinkes Peace Award from the Week of Prayer for World Peace, has worked bravely to promote literacy, challenge gender-based violence, and foster peace in her home country. She and her family have been invited to Scotland this June for a unique cultural exchange that will explore themes of family, faith, and education—culminating in public events in Glasgow and Oban.
This special online gathering will feature musical offerings by Molly Grace Hicks and Harold Messinger
