Alignment Online returns for a new season of interfaith contemplative practices. A time when people of different traditions or of no tradition come together to share some moments of contemplation, reflection, prayer, and peace.
Each week we offer a practice that might be familiar or that might be different from any practice you have engaged in before. Our hope is that if we can learn to share our practices of prayer and centering, then we can learn to work together for a more peaceful world, from a place of mutual respect. Whether each offering is one that you will incorporate into your own daily, weekly, or occasional practice or something that only brings curious observation, by opening your heart and mind to these experiences, you are becoming part of something bigger than yourself.
We hope that you will join us online for our first session of the season, which will be a time to engage with a common pattern of Celtic prayer. We will look at how you might make it your own and easily use it at moments during the day that are not even set apart for prayer. The half hour online session, led by Rev. Margaret Somerville, will include space for quiet meditation. We come together online, although in our separate spaces, so that we might honor our connection.
A Zoom link for the session will be sent out the day before the session.
