Using the structure of Mindfulness Meditation, Therese Taylor-Stinson, founder of the Spiritual Directors of Color Network and author and editor of Embodied Spirits: Stories of Spiritual Directors of Color will lead us in a contemplation on Jesus’ words to “love your neighbor as yourself.” What does Jesus imply in that direction? Using words from Howard Thurman, we will consider our self love and how it might inform our love for neighbor.
